I go by T65 over there...have for a few months. I answered a member about 7.62NATO handloads and got two PM's about my info. One stated that I posted a link that had bad information and the other stated that I didn't know what I was talking about. I deleted the link to keep the peace but, I would really like for the member named "mag" to reply to me. I don't know what he is talking about as far as bad info (?). A few years back I got into a bees nest over setting a trunnion in the CETME receiver. I quit going there and now I remember why. I don't mind getting corrected, Lord knows I can use it. But when a person won't back up their comments I have to just shake my head...and get angry about it. Sorta like put up or shut up I suppose. Oh well, no harm done.

I was at the rifle range a year or so ago and was shooting my M1A and doing pretty good. I was shooting off the bench and testing some handloads. Just one other fella there and it was easy to set up targets and just take my time...enjoying my freedom so to speak. After about an hour the guy comes walking over and asked to check out my rifle. Pretty good sized young man and looked to be some sort of Marine or soldier by his hair cut and the way he presented himself. He asked if he could fire off a few rounds and would I mind if he shot free-hand (which is a no-no at that rifle range). You can only load one round at a time there also, benchrest shooting at the 100 and 200yd ranges. We both looked around to make sure no one had snuck up on us and I handed him a full ten round mag and started drinking my coffee. He fired off a couple of rounds and did some sight adjustments...another couple of rounds and some more adjustments. I wasn't really seeing how his bullets were hitting because I was drinking coffee. He smiled and asked if I was ready...hmmm...ready for what I wondered. He filled the mag back up to ten rounds and I watched through the spotting scope as he started shooting. Not really rapid fire but not slow by any means. He made one ragged hole in the ten ring. He said it was a good shooting rifle and handed it back to me and went back to his own shooting at the other end of the line. So, sometimes you don't need to explain things or even say a word. He was letting me know that it was the shooter, not the ammo or rifle. And he did it in a way as to not upset the cart......damn Jarhead.
