I took the spring out and it's okee dokee with the rocking up and down with the muzzle, without the trigger assy in it.
When I put the trigger assy in, it's hanging up 1 1/8th in. from chamber (muzzle up). I can pull the op rod to the rear and
it will not fall forward (muzzle down) with the trigger guard locked in place. With the trigger guard not locked in place the bolt
is not hanging up. Receiver is a Mar. 41 production and the trigger guard is the "early" milled type (has hole for winter trigger).
Locking the trigger guard in is causing a bind, somewhere.
Should I try a different trigger guard/trigger assy?
Tks
