Just wanted to add, The last Mauser is a 1939 "42". With the Proper muzzle cover, flat buttplate and laminated stock. Notice the bolt is blue not Silver. The Mitchel looks alot more like the Yugo above. All three I would say share a common linnage since the "42" was made in the Brno plant of Czechoslovakia. Collecting Mausers is a safe addiction. Just as long as you know what you have, and present it as such.
I have seven, Four German, One Iserali, One Chilean 1912-61, and the Egyptian MBO (Yugo). All but the 1912 are 8mm. All shoot great. None are Mitchell's.
Just my two cents worth!
