I just purchased a 98K mauser with a turned down bolt I think. I believe it's a Yugo capture because it has the Yugo crest stamped on the receiver ring. It looks like a replacement barrel so there are no meaningful markings on it. It says K98 German mauser 8mm cai st air vt. The receiver has Preduzece 44 and Mod 98 stamped on the left side and the right side has J5893. When I measure the distance between the screws on the trigger plate it measures 7 13/16th. This makes it a large action. When I view pictures in Mauser Military Rifles of the World I see a picture that indicates I have an M48. The stock has the regular sling that threads through the stock, no bolt take down disks and the thin butt plate. The sear has 43 stamped on the side and some insignia like a small triplane stamped on the trigger and sear. Do I have a 98K?
