OK. I love shooting my byf43, but the ammo is expensive. I use the SP 170grain bullets, and I don't know how to reload. I have brand new 196 grain FMJ steel-core bullets, but I can't use them at any range because of the ricochet. But they're dirt cheap though compared to the SP I use. 20 rounds for $7, compared to $20-$25 for the Federal ones.
Are those Romanian 7.92 mil-surp also steel core? I'm assuming they are, but not sure, since it's not mentioned on the websites.

I guess the only way to get cheaper ammo is to learn how to properly reload my brass. There's a class I plan on signing up for though. But I'm wondering how much money can be saved reloading? I know I'll have to buy equipment and such.
Anyway, thanks for any input!
